"The San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 is one of the best kept secrets in the area. It is located in a funky old mansion that used to belong to Local Socialite & Arctic Explorer, Louise Boyd. The house is packed with Edwardian touches and history, a huge professional grade kitchen can prepare meals for any size function, there is an inside ballroom, and a huge outdoor events area. Many families take advantage of the swimming pool. Dues are reasonable and the benefits you receive in return outweigh any expenses."

"I love my club! We just went to the family holiday party, and it was the best! The volunteers had great craft projects for the kids and even a “snowball” fight. The dinner was yummy, but even better was the Hawaiian ensemble ukulele players and dancers. I certainly didn’t expect that wonderful entertainment. That made it a delightful evening for the adults, too. Of course, the adults enjoyed watching the 49er rout of the Eagles on the big screen while the kids played with the volunteers. Then, the highlight for the kids was Santa! He was great, and the photographer took numerous pictures for the families. The kids received a generous haul of fun gifts, too. This was a truly magical afternoon/evening! Thank you, fellow elks, for such a fantastic time."
